Our assistance department is available around the clock, every day of the week to answer your call. Multi-lingual personnel can speak the language of the country you are visiting for clear and accurate communication.

Embassy/Consulate Location Service

We advise you how to locate and contact the nearest embassy or consulate.

Translations & Interpreters

We will provide emergency telephone translation services through our 24-hour network, as well as referrals to interpreter services if needed.

Return of Vehicle

We will arrange for your vehicle to be returned to the rental agencies or principal residences within North America.

Claims Assistance

We will assist with your claims submission anywhere in the world, by coordinating claims efforts. We provide online claim forms and assist callers in completing the forms. We will explain the claim process and guide you in providing all necessary documentation.

Hospital Admittance Deposit/Guarantee

We will either guarantee or wire any emergency hospital admittance deposit.

Medical Case Management

We monitor your medical condition and your treatment. We will also be in constant contact with you and your treating doctor. In case you are hospitalized, our Medical Panel will review your treatment on a daily basis and make sure that you are receiving the most adequate treatment available. If you wish, our Case Management Team will provide ongoing updates to your family, friends and employer.

Transportation of Relative/Friend to the Bedside

We arrange emergency travel for a friend or family member to join you if you’re hospitalized and your medical condition necessitates their presence.

Emergency Evacuation & Repatriation

We will arrange your emergency evacuation to the nearest medical facility capable of providing adequate care, should you be in an accident or sudden life-threatening sickness and when adequate medical facilities are not available locally.

Return of Dependent Children

If your dependent children or grandchildren are left unattended as the result of your sickness or injury, we will arrange their return to their place of residence.

Emergency Medical Payment

You may avoid out-of-pocket expenses. Simply notify the travel assistance department in advance for verification that the treatment is for a medical emergency covered by your travel insurance. We will ensure that your covered medical expenses are paid directly to the hospital or medical facility, where possible. We will also coordinate with your Canadian government or provincial health insurance plan, when appropriate.
